The Raymonds and their Wine : A family affair
At Saransot Dupré, wine is first and foremost a family affair. The Raymonds have been winemakers in Listrac since 1750, and it was in 1875 that they bought the Dupré properties located in the commune.

At the end of the 19th century successive attacks of mildew, powdery mildew and phylloxera left the Raymond family on the verge of ruin. But the courage and winemaking talents of the widow Marie Raymond ensured that Saransot Dupré was not lost.

Today, the estate belongs to her great-grandson Yves Raymond, a university-trained Oenologist.
